The participants are part of the Supply Chain Connections program at ACCES Employment. In partnership with Sheridan College, this program offers theoretical and practical supports to highly skilled immigrants as they transition into the Canadian job market.
Learners
Phase 1 – Project Plan: Students and/or Sheridan Professor will meet with organization representative(s) to devise the project scope and prepare a detailed plan for completion of the project.
Phase 2 – Project Execution: Students will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan. Teams will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
Phase 3 - Outcome: The final deliverables will be agreed upon in Phase 1 and will vary by project. Generally, your organization will receive a report, live presentation, or project plan.

Work with us to establish the scope and specifications of the project and our class will develop a project charter, specifications and full project plan.

- Demand forecasting
- Improving workflow in distribution centres/warehouses
- Determining the best price for products/services
Class participants:
Class participants represent a variety of disciplines within supply chain including procurement, demand planning, forecasting, logistics, inventory control and operations management. They have an average of 8 years of experience in supply chain, and are highly trained and educated, with roughly 99% having completed undergraduate degree and around 50% having completed graduate studies. Recent graduates have been hired by Black and McDonald; Toronto Hydro; Canada Post; Johnson and Johnson in positions such as Senior Procurement Specialist; Audit, Risk, Compliance Consultant; Procurement Specialist and Supply Chain Analyst.
