Research on Virtual Teams in the consulting industry
- Develop realistic scenarios for virtual teams and outsourcing work through virtual assistants
- Explore how other consulting firms adapted a hybrid work schedule
- Explore different in-person office scenario to enable collaboration with virtual teams eg. hot desking
- Explore the similarities and differences between virtual and in-person teams; requirements and expectations for the following:
- Applications/Softwares
- Technology/Equipment
- Space Requirements
- Schedule; On-Demand, Flex-Time, Regular Hours
- Compensation Packages / Contracts
- No Out-Sourcing or Third-Party
- Mitigating Risks & Liabilities
IDEAL ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES/RÔLES/RESPONSABILITÉS:*
- Conduct research and data analysis on different types of virtual teams and what might work best
- Identify methods on how to best transition from an all-in-person work schedule to hybrid
- Research on outsourcing labour-intensive work to virtual assistants and the best places to outsource them from ie. Schedule, tasks and forms of communication
- Do weekly check-ins with the Aubin Team for updates and presentation of recommendations
FINAL PROJECT DELIVERABLES/LIVRABLES DU PROJET:
- Complete the matrix or spreadsheet tracker for all Research information (to be provided by Aubin)
- 1-page executive summary report of research and analysis
- 10-minute (minimum) presentation on findings
- Present and provide recommendations
Weekly 1-2 hours mentorship and direct supervision with regular check-ins
