Details

The main goal of this project is to create game-based learning experiences that introduce minority and underserved students to STEAM concepts and skills, and to promote equity and access in STEAM education. The aim is to make learning engaging, effective, and accessible to all learners, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Deliverables
  1. Collaborating with instructional designers and subject matter experts to develop game mechanics and learning objectives that align with STEAM curriculum standards.
  2. Designing game levels and puzzles that incorporate STEAM concepts and skills, such as coding, engineering, or scientific inquiry.
  3. Creating engaging visual and audio content, such as animations, sound effects, and music, that enhance the gaming experience and reinforce learning objectives.
  4. Implementing adaptive learning algorithms that adjust the difficulty of the game based on the player's performance and progress, to ensure that the game is challenging but not frustrating.
  5. Conducting user testing and research to gather feedback from students, educators, and administrators, and using this feedback to continually improve the game.
  6. Ensuring that the game is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities or who may have limited access to technology.
  7. Integrating social and collaborative features.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with CEO, Damola Idowu who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
