learning aids project management program design team building teaching governanceThe main goal of this project is to create profiles and archetypes for people creating a group project, these profiles should clearly indicate how different roles are needed in order to achieve a group objective.
These profiles will be used as teaching aids for community groups aiming to complete collective problems facing their communities in a mutual aid model.
Profiles should include key tasks or actions each role performs in the lifecycle of group work and indicate high and low level attributes of each respective role with examples and scenarios included to better develop learning aids.
Students will need a good understanding of Project Management, Team Building and Program Design in order to properly articulate the nuances of each role and develop a learning curriculum around the development of each profile from a novice to a master in each respective profile.
Students will be provided with
- a list of possible roles/ profiles to explore
- scenarios in which communities organize in order to develop profiles
- digital access to the book "Mutual Aid" by Dean Spade (this book highlights different dimensionality of various roles in decentralized/leaderless community building efforts that students can incorporate into their profiles)
- access to the Gnomadic Discord community for user testing and profiling's
- Our organization will provide students will direct communication to our in-house developers via slack, weekly calls and support, cover the cost of any additional software services needed to complete the project.
