The main goal for the project is to redesign and test the introductory chemistry laboratories at MacEwan University- Department of Physical Sciences. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Analyzing the current structure and content of the introductory chemistry laboratories. - Designing a new curriculum and laboratory layout that enhances the learning experience for students. - Testing the new curriculum and laboratory layout with a focus group of students and faculty. - Making adjustments based on feedback and finalizing the redesigned laboratories.

As an undergraduate research assistant, you will be tasked with finding and reading chemistry program requirements from universities across Canada and summarizing findings in excel. You will be required to interpret written paragraphs from various academic calendars and pulling key information like topics covered, laboratory hours, lecture hours and seminar hours.
