Immersion Room is looking for a full-time or part-time Editor & Content Creator to help us edit, organize, and produce content that highlights what we do as a company.

We are seeking to hire keen and self-motivated individuals who are excited by the intersection of filmmaking and real-time graphics, and love learning and applying new technologies to sophisticated problems.
We are a small but growing company. Ideal candidates are dependable and responsible while wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment. They are sensitive and responsive to the changing needs around them, and are eager to grow with the company. Ideal candidates are excited to roll up their sleeves to do the work.
We would prefer candidates in the Toronto area but are open to remote candidates within a few time zones.

The candidate would help the existing team by:

• Creating new video content for a variety of purposes
• Editing existing and new video content, exploring and validating creative solutions when it comes to editing techniques
• Establishing efficient post production workflows
• Basic Audio editing skills, for example, interviews, sound effects, music tracks via sites like MusicBed, Epidemic sound, etc.
• Contributing to social media plans and calendars
• Writing short copy for social
• Other needs as they arise and skills/interests align
• Assisting with film shoots

The candidate will be supported in Immersion Room through training and resources, collaboration and feedback, career growth opportunities, and flexibility in their work arrangement.
