analytical skills data blending computer systems database architecture database upgradesThe Hochoka Retreat Center is seeking to enhance its donor and client management processes by integrating its existing Excel database into the Give Butter platform. This project aims to streamline data management, improve accessibility, and enhance reporting capabilities. The current system relies heavily on manual data entry and management, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. By transitioning to Give Butter, the center will be able to automate data synchronization, ensuring real-time updates and reducing administrative overhead. The project will involve understanding the data structure of both Excel and Give Butter, mapping the fields accurately, and developing a reliable integration process. This will provide learners with an opportunity to apply their knowledge of database management, data mapping, and integration techniques in a real-world setting.
Clean up in the EXCEL file has to occur before the integration into Give Butter can happen.
We also have new contacts which need to be entered.
The project deliverables include a comprehensive integration plan, a functional prototype of the data integration process, and a final report detailing the integration methodology and outcomes. The team will also provide documentation outlining the steps for future maintenance and updates. Additionally, a presentation will be conducted to demonstrate the integration process and its benefits to Hochoka Retreat Center.

Indigenous-Owned Minority-Owned Women-Owned Small Business Sustainable/green Neurodivergent-Owned Rural-Based Community-FocusedHochoka Retreat Center offers a place of education and respite for wellness, stress management, trauma recovery and other life changing programs. We have been operating with our lead program healingwithhorses for over 20 years. It is not a horse riding program. One does not even have to be near a horse for the transformation to occur. We have new goals for the farm to include a tiny house living model project; to help people learn how to have a home, live simply, without a huge tethered to mortgage. Another new aspect of our farm is to develop with our curriculum based programs, an outdoor school. We also would like to begin again to facilitate our programs as elective course work to be utilized within Universities within the master's programs for those studying to be therapist or social workers. We want to market home school associations and other alternative learning models for marketing our outdoor learning modules. We also want to place our curriculum onto our website.
