Database Integration for Hochoka Retreat Center

The Hochoka Retreat Center is seeking to enhance its donor and client management processes by integrating its existing Excel database into the Give Butter platform. This project aims to streamline data management, improve accessibility, and enhance reporting capabilities. The current system relies heavily on manual data entry and management, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. By transitioning to Give Butter, the center will be able to automate data synchronization, ensuring real-time updates and reducing administrative overhead. The project will involve understanding the data structure of both Excel and Give Butter, mapping the fields accurately, and developing a reliable integration process. This will provide learners with an opportunity to apply their knowledge of database management, data mapping, and integration techniques in a real-world setting. Clean up in the EXCEL file has to occur before the integration into Give Butter can happen. We also have new contacts which need to be entered.

Marketing - Newsletter Creation & Social Media

Hochoka Retreat Center needs interns to work with us on our flyers we want to post each month in 3 areas (3 flyers) = 1) Breathwork 2) Retreat Farm Day 3) Volunteer Day. These will go out to sections within our database = such as; the Breathwork and Retreat Farm Day will go to all clients, volunteers, associates who work with children, yoga, adult clients. Our database is divided up into various categories. We will work with you on which ones, per the particular flyer. We are also developing a newsletter to go out quarterly - to everyone in the database. We are also developing a letter to go out to Universities which offer PhD and Masters programs for therapy. Also Universities who offer horse degree curriculum. We are requesting to have our curriculum based horse healing program to be offered on farm location, as an elective for students; and for internships so that they can learn a new cutting edge type of therapy. We can also come to the University and teach in class room; however we prefer live, real time at the farm. Lenoir Rhyne, Gardner Webb, Clemson, etc.

Database Administration / Crowdfunding Project Management

Hochoka Retreat Center = www.healingwithhorses.com - offers cutting edge outdoor live learning programs. We are developing an outdoor, curriculum based school. Great opportunity for those who like to work/learn "outside the box". COME get involved. Our goals for this project is we are launching for first time a fund raising campaign through Crowdfunding. We have been in classes learning this virtual modality ! EXCITING ! This platform needs to be administered with our database which we currently have 2 versions of = 1) in Mail Chimp; 2) in excel. We also need our database to be used to 1) send out quarterly newsletters. 2) Send out monthly flyers for our a) Retreat Day 2) Volunteer day 3) Breathwork Day

Basic Administration - Communications

Hochoka needs an intern to help with basic administration such as editing program materials; making program materials all have written info at bottom of each page; add into facilitator's guide new material learned from Director going into self leadership learning modules (Trust Technique, etc.) Part of this work will be writing for flyers marketing our programs to home school associations, local county schools, Universities. these would be sent out through our database mass emailing and regular mail to some. We also need forms to be filled out for grant writing. We will train for this. It is just computer work. We have templates and tutorials. The Director will also be available to give guidance.
