Hochoka needs an intern to help with basic administration such as editing program materials; making program materials all have written info at bottom of each page; add into facilitator's guide new material learned from Director going into self leadership learning modules (Trust Technique, etc.)

Part of this work will be writing for flyers marketing our programs to home school associations, local county schools, Universities. these would be sent out through our database mass emailing and regular mail to some.

We also need forms to be filled out for grant writing. We will train for this. It is just computer work. We have templates and tutorials. The Director will also be available to give guidance.

Hochoka Retreat Center offers a place of education and respite for wellness, stress management, trauma recovery and other life changing programs. We have been operating with our lead program healingwithhorses for over 20 years. It is not a horse riding program. One does not even have to be near a horse for the transformation to occur. We have new goals for the farm to include a tiny house living model project; to help people learn how to have a home, live simply, without a huge tethered to mortgage. Another new aspect of our farm is to develop with our curriculum based programs, an outdoor school. We also would like to begin again to facilitate our programs as elective course work to be utilized within Universities within the master's programs for those studying to be therapist or social workers. We want to market home school associations and other alternative learning models for marketing our outdoor learning modules. We also want to place our curriculum onto our website.
