Students will work on one main project over the course of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students with marketing-specific knowledge will team up to offer a consultancy service to a business client. The team will work with the business to redefine the problem, opportunity or service required. Our students are equipped with skills in marketing research, marketing management, new product development, brand management, advertising practice and any marketing-related role. Our programme has professional accreditations from Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Insitute of Data & Marketing. The course adopts a unique 'practice-based 'perspective, focusing on the applicability of theory to everyday marketing activities and prepares students for an industry career.

Students with HR-specific knowledge will team up to offer a consultancy service to a business client. The team will work with the business to redefine the problem, opportunity or service required. Our course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as well as the Chartered Management Institute to ensure that we equip students with skills that are relevant and recognised by employers, and we also incorporate as much hands-on experience and professional training as possible; our student network with professionals, learn from guest speakers, and have the chance to take a work placement. Students have access to The University of East London's Business Advice Centre which connects them with experts as well as the Strategy and Marketing Lab.
