Marketing Strategy Plan

We want students to help us build a marketing strategy plan to grow and engage our recruiting service target market:. We’d like to know how we can maximize use of different channels and get recommendations to improve our messaging. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: How do students currently perceive our brand and marketing, based on publicly available information about our company? What channels should we utilize for promotion, including ones we are not currently using? What budget is appropriate for advertising, given our goals? How could our messaging be updated to better explain our value proposition? Is there any automation we should add to our website for clients?

Survey Creation and Data Collection

We are looking to develop a multiple choice and/or fillable salary survey that can be used to generate accurate data, which can be used for decision making for businesses when recruiting and hiring staff. Using communications best practices, we would like students to develop a questionnaire that will generate usable data for decision making by the municipality and local small to medium size businesses. We would also like for students to source options for us to conduct the survey within our target group of small businesses within a defined geography. Once this salary survey has been created the students will support the data collection through a number of means including email, social media and phone calls to a targeted list of businesses that fall within four sectors -skilled trades and construction; hospitality and tourism, Health care and retail. The collection of data may or may not lead to some conclusions and observations being made and included in the final report. This compulation of data will help formulate a number of future decisions made by the Municipality (specifically Economic Development), local businesses and perspective employees. The results of this survey should be useable and will be used to make decisions within our organization
