So Far the group provided to us did not join the team in any team meeting nor did they become involved in the project as a whole. I gave an overview and the team seemed to quit as they assumed they knew how the end result would be though they did not join the team and ask questions or discuss the situation in detail. I connected several times with the lead teacher and sent several messages to both the team and the lead contact in the school to no avail. I still have an email outstanding to the team that has yet to be answered from last week, and I was told in the last meeting I would have a reply last week. Not sure what their plans or expectations were, but it seems they are not interested in working as part of a bigger team and expect to have all sorts of special treatment for meetings and connections. If you join a team as an intern the company doesn't change it's policies and how it communicates to the team to fit the interns, The interns learn how the company works, joins the groups needed like git hub and a communication hub like discord, they participate in zoom meetings with the present development group once a week not demand their own special separate meeting. They join and ask questions not assume. Unfortunately I don't feel this connection worked at all for either side.

Overall this project/course was very successful. Instructors from Bow Valley College (Pasquale LaPorta and Neil Brigden) structured the course to be efficiently and effectively managed with minimal input from AgSights as the company. Regular check in meetings ensured that the student team stayed on track while enabling us to see progress and provide feedback along the way. We were impressed with the professionalism, punctuality and skills of the instructors and the students that were assigned our project. It was a pleasure to work with Pasquale, Neil and the student team and we will consider Bow Valley College for the future needs of our company. We are excited to see the value that the visualization dashboard, created by the student group, will bring to small and medium sized agribusinesses (our clients).
