
Small Towns of Canada - Phase 2 | Digital Content for 1000towns.ca
Number of individual students required: 25 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting travellers and small town communities. In Phase 2, we want students to create content about the next groups of small Canadian towns. It will be focused mostly on Quebec, Saskatchewan, northern Ontario and the Atlantic provinces. With students' help, we launched more than 260 town pages on 1000towns.ca. To clarify the format, you can check existing pages (blue leaves on the map). To complete the project, we expect the student(s) will: Choose ten small towns Write a short description of each attraction (8-12 attractions for each town) 'Communicate with local communities for feedback After approval of the 1000 Towns of Canada team, the final content will be published as unique town pages on 1000towns.ca with the student's name as a creator. Online Store Website Updates phase 2.
The main goal for this project to to put the finishing touches on our Shopify website to enable us to fully move from WordPress to shopify. To complete this project, the following tasks will need to be achieved: 1. Update listings on shopify with product descriptions, categories / tags etc from Revel. 2. Update the menu and ensure all products are categorized appropriately. 3. Update photos to a standard format. 4. Find and address duplicate product listings.

Market Expansion: Grocery Stores in Major U.S Cities
The goal of this project is to create a comprehensive list of African and Caribbean grocery stores (online and physical) in the major U.S cities, including their contact information. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Researching existing African and Caribbean grocery stores in major U.S cities. - Collecting contact information for each store. - Verifying the accuracy of the contact information by calling/contacting.

Job Board Integration and Database Optimization
UpSourced HR is seeking to enhance its recruitment process by integrating its Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with existing job boards. The current system faces challenges in maintaining database accuracy and ensuring ease of use for HR professionals. The goal of this project is to streamline the integration process, allowing for seamless data transfer between the ATS and job boards. This will help in reducing manual data entry errors and improving the overall efficiency of the recruitment process.
